It was really nice to have the Siggmeister with me for a quick Post Office run 📯📯📯 when we got there it was a little strange because the sign on the door says ‘only 2 people inside at once’ but I couldn’t see anyone inside. And with it being lunch time, a queue of people was forming behind us. So we walked in only to find that there were already more than 2 people there, but it’s a small business and they don’t have enough staff to have someone man the door all the time. I just wonder how it’s all going to work from next week.🚶♀️🚶🚶🏽♂️🚶🚶🏽🚶🏾♀️🚶♀️
Anyway, when we walked home we could hear all the year 6 kids at the local school playing ⚽️🥅⚽️ and the Siggmeister was really surprised to hear them. Though he knows what is happening, I think it highlighted his isolation... I hadn’t quite expected all that when we set off.
So here’s to getting used to the new normal ... there’s definitely more to it than I expected
